French Country Meets Urban Chic Design
Interior designer Nikki Levy was recently tasked with transforming a blank canvas into an inviting space with a classic French twist. Blending together chic elements with comfortable furnishings, this home is conducive to easy entertaining and a casual lifestyle.
This rich interior living space flaunts a refreshing urban edge blended with a crisp French provincial essence that is warm and inviting. Â An emphasis on textures and patterns define the space and the serene and subdued color palette provides the backdrop.
Often a designer picks one unifying element that becomes central to an entire decorative scheme. For this home the fairy tale-like girls’ bedroom was the inspiration and root of the entire home’s decor. According to interior designer, Nikki Levy:
The aura and flow of the home stem from the ethereal feminine bedroom for a look that is ‘put together’ and unique.
A clear and concise vision takes flight throughout the design and you’ll notice Nikki did a great job incorporating rich Victorian elegance and clean, crisp style throughout the home.

Overall, the theme is casual luxury nuanced with a French Country vibe. Nothing is too stiff or too fancy. Unifying elements in textures and patterns as seen in the area rugs, wall décor and moldings, as well as in fabrics, furniture and light fixtures, create a distinct flow.
This French Country meets Urban Chic style was carefully crafted and put together by Nikki Levy and we think she did a fabulous job! The elements of the home are shown below with pieces of fabric, wall paper, tile and decor to show off the elements of this beautiful space.
