Style is what we wanted and liked the glass shade for the bathroom. The backplate was also small enough to fit our particular installation.

does this work well for bathrooms?
BEST ANSWER: In my opinion: Yes! A year ago, we installed two on a back wall in master bath on new house and they are beautiful and they have worked flawlessly. Of course, there are codes to be adhered to. But we have loved ours in our bathroom and no problems at all.

Is the bottom of the glass shade completely open like a normal traditional lampshade?
Does the double sconce in the Bryant come with a glass shade? The single Bryant 5 in sconce has a glass shade
