Is this the correct size (medium 19") to use a pair over an island which is 8 1/2' long?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, to determine the recommended width of an island fixture, subtract 12" from the width of the island. For example, if the island is 4', then 48" - 12" = 36" wide is the maximum recommended width for the fixture. The 8.5' length is suitable for these. I hope this information helps.
