What kind of outlet box does this require? Is it a standard light box?

BEST ANSWER: No, it needs to be a smaller junction box. I myself am in the middle of installing it as I had to have a smaller box installed, now waiting to repair sheetrock, then the light can be installed. Initially when I tried to have it installed with a regular box the base of the light was not large enough to cover it.

Is the height and width of the backplate correct as advertised? shouldnt the height be 2.75 inches and the width 4.50 inches?

How can I get a bit more light from these? What LED light do you suggest? These do not illuminate artwork, just bookshelves.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the LED equivalent is a 3 watt bulb, I suggest a high color temperature bulb in the 5000k-6500k range for bright daylight. I hope this information helps.
