Do all 3 joints bend in all directions, or only up and down?
Does it have an on/off switch on the light itself?

Would this pendant be able to go over sinks in a master bath (one over each sink) - more ambient or task lighting? With the metal shade hard to imagine much light coming out. Thanks!

Would this size be appropriate as an accent light above a 3' wide built in bookcase with ceilings 9' (bookcase would not be that high)?
BEST ANSWER: In my opinion, as long as you allow enough room above the bookcase for the specs of the movable neck (it's pretty tall), then I think it's appropriate. It allows for a nice span of light and is movable so that's a plus! Adds an element of industrial uniqueness.

Does this light move side to side and front to back without adusting any screws on the light? I want it for the side of my bed for reading.
BEST ANSWER: No you have to listen the set screw on the arm to move the light.
