Dakota is a hardwire-only fixture and the bulb is not included. Would this pendant be able to go over sinks in a master bath (one over each sink) - more ambient or task lighting? With the metal shade hard to imagine much light coming out. Thanks!

Perhaps if they are high enough where they wouldn’t get splashed by water. They do give good focused light. We use them as bedside lamps.

Would this size be appropriate as an accent light above a 3' wide built in bookcase with ceilings 9' (bookcase would not be that high)?

BEST ANSWER: In my opinion, as long as you allow enough room above the bookcase for the specs of the movable neck (it's pretty tall), then I think it's appropriate. It allows for a nice span of light and is movable so that's a plus! Adds an element of industrial uniqueness.

Hi, This fixture would provide ample accent light for a 3' wide built in bookcase, this is suitable depending on the height of the bookcase. I hope this information helps.

Does this light move side to side and front to back without adusting any screws on the light? I want it for the side of my bed for reading.

I see dimensions but bc I plan to mount this a bit differently I need to know the length of each section of the arm. Please provide?
