How do you make the fan go in reverse with the remote?
BEST ANSWER: Hit the second button from the bottom, it has swirley arrows in an oval with the arrows pointing in opposite directions. This will change directions while the fan is on.

Is a longer down rod available?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, there are longer downrods available, however the manufacturer does not have the rods available in the Architectural Bronze. I hope this information helps.
