What does color temperature refer to when choosing a ceiling fan?
BEST ANSWER: Hello: Color temperature is measured in Kelvin scale: Warm White is around 3000k, whereas Cool White is around 5000k.

I need a 60 inch and a 36 inch downrod for the Wynd outdoor ceiling fan by modern forms in matt black. Do I have to use the modern forms downrod? It doesn't come in matt black. What other one can I use?
BEST ANSWER: I don't find a 60 inch outdoor rated Wynd ceiling fan. The only Wynd fans I see in the catalog are 44 inches and 52 inches. Rated Dry. They also do not come in black, the darkest finish is Bronze.

Can this be installed on a slant? And is a longer downrod available for purchase ?
BEST ANSWER: For ceiling fans installed on a slope we suggest purchasing a slope Ceiling Adapter Kit. Also, additional downrods can be purchased also from the manufacturer Modern Forms. Contact one of our showrooms or customer service for your purchase.

Does the 60” fan have 3 or 5 blades? Picture shows 5, written description says 3. Also, can a 24” downrod be used with this fan?
