Does this have a dimmable light?
BEST ANSWER: Although I don't see confirmation of this site, I searched product specifications on other sites and some of them say the light is dimmable. Mine hasn't been installed yet, but that was important to me, and several sites confirm it's dimmable.

Will this work with a wall control and not a remote?
BEST ANSWER: I do not believe it will. But whatever settings you leave the fan at and turn off the wall switch (just the basic on/off switch), the fan saves the setting and will come back on to that setting. This avoids having to use the remote always to turn off and on. Another note, the fan moves an extreme amount of air. I have a large room with 14' high cathedral ceiling (room is 28 x 20) and I use the fan at the lowest setting, #1, which gently recirculates the room nicely. It is an extremely quiet fan also. Very nice, highly recommend

We installed this fan and now the light turns on by itself! Did we install something incorrectly? Help! It keeps waking us up!
