Hi, there is a diffuser to cover the bulb, but there is not a cap cover for use without the light. I hope this information helps.

Hi, The remote cannot reverse the fan for use during the winter, but a manual switch of the fan’s motor allows you to reverse the blades’ direction. I hope this information helps.

I would say no. The light on bottom and motor vents are upward and rain would get in. If protected from rain or water then yes. Good luck

BEST ANSWER: I don’t think it “comes with” a wall switch. But I’m pretty sure an electrician can install one. The remotes on our two fans are normally on the caddy where a wall switch would be. But if we are in bed or on the couch we just take it with us.

I really like the fan a lot. Nice color and sleek. I am not a fan of the remote control and les lighting, but I giess that is how things are going. Too many remotes to keep track of now with just the TV.

We selected this fan based on it's look and then we discovered how much air it really moves. We are VERY happy with our selection. While they aren't made out of Koa wood the look is rich and stunning. If you are looking for clean lines with bright LED lighting and great controls . . . this is the fan for you.

Stylish fan
This is an elegant fan that looks good when running or stationary. The light is very bright but dimmable, so if you have an area that can use extra illumination then this fan is a good choice. The white color of the light makes a nice contrast to the wood effect blades whether the fan is off or on. This is a less expensive version of another fan that has curved blades, but this design is stylish in its own right and is excellent value for the price.

I ordered this fan in silver to go with my '50s modern living room, with which it fits in beautifully. The fan is super-quiet, even at the highest setting (one of three), and moves a good amount of air. The dimmer is stepped, meaning that it has about 4 degrees of brightness; it isn't fine-tunable. The lowest setting is sufficiently bright for us. If you want to do a CIA interrogation, the brightest setting is super-bright, perfect for exacting confessions. I read some complaints about the fan blades being plastic. If you have modern furniture, plastic, introduced in furniture in the 1950s, is a perfectly compatible material aesthetically. The fan looks and works great: that's the most important thing. The remote is stylish as well.
