Does this light have an on off switch on the light itself?
BEST ANSWER: No this light does not have its own on off switch. Needs to be wired to a light switch. Love the light. It’s very subtle for ambiance lighting.

Is it dimmable?
BEST ANSWER: You could dim this of course but the wattage is so small that there is really no need. Fun fixture to be an accent not main lighting.
