Can yOu turn off light and have fan on?
BEST ANSWER: Yes! WE WIRED IT TO A LIGHT SWITCH ON THE WALL. IF YOU TURN ON THE FAN LIGHT, WITH THE REMOTE, YOU CAN USE THE WALL SWITCH TO TURN THE LIGHT ON AND OFF. YOU CAN USE THE LIGHT WITHOUT THE FAN AND THE FAN WITHOUT THE LIGHT. I LOVE IT!

Does it have a light cap if no desire for the light?
BEST ANSWER: No, there is no light cap. You can turn the light completely off, which is what I do......but no cover to cap off the bottom if you choose not to install the light. Hope this helps! I really like the fan......I leave it on almost all day and all night. Soooooooo quiet!

Do I need 2 switches x this fan and light?
BEST ANSWER: I believe you can have two switches, but we have one switch that turns the units off and on and we use the remote to change settings. The fan looks great and is very quiet. The best value we could find in a modern fan. We bought two. (Now only if electricians weren't so darn expensive—they cost much more to install than purchase!)

I see that some people said you can adjust the brightness of the light. Can someone tell me how? I do not see where I can adjust the brightness via remote that came with it and it is quite dim. Thanks!
BEST ANSWER: Press on the light button for a long time and it should switch between the “bright” setting and “dim” setting. It’s an LED so it’s not technically dimmable, but rather the bright setting is two light rings on rather than one.

Can you change LED to a warm light? The out of box LED is typica cold / almost fluorescent...
BEST ANSWER: These fans have a hard wired panel with LED nodes, there is no light bulb to swap, so I don't think you would be able to switch to a different color temperature, you'll have to live with the existing lights.

BEST ANSWER: The light is not a bulb but a custom panel of LEDs. I would expect that you could buy a replacement part from the manufacturer but you can't just install a standard bulb.

does the unit operate with a 2 wire or 3 wire?
BEST ANSWER: this fan only operates on a 2 wire, for a 3 wire the red had to be capped because you wire directly into the remote receiver which leads are a black and white only. remote reciever cannot be overidden , hunter is very deceitful

what is the height from the ceiling to the lowest point of the fan? Not the overall height of 10.29 but the height from ceiling to lowest point of fan- this is to ensure clearance over a storm door that opens into the fan?
