What is the difference between blacksmith and midnight black finishes?
Can this fixture be hung off-center to the power box?
BEST ANSWER: These type fixtures with a long canopy on the ceiling that have two cables/stems that support a long, linear light. That would solve one direction but not the other. You would only be able to pivot how it is mounted. "Swagging" a fixture with a cord or chain is the only way to center a fixture without having an electrician move your junction box.

Are these poles adjustable? Can I make them short?
BEST ANSWER: The pole screw together for the length that you desire. One pole length is need to attach the light fixture to the base.

What is the length of the rods it comes with? I want to make sure the entire length form the ceiling to the bottom of light fixture it will fit over our dinning table.
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the overall max height is 60.75 inches if using all of the included stems. A dining room fixture should hang about 30" from the surface of the table; it should be about 12" narrower than the width of the table. I hope this information helps.
