16" height is measured to where? top of glass? top base? or somewhere up the chain?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the 16" height is measured from the bottom of the glass to the main ring above where the stems connect. The height is adjustable from 29" to 98". I hope this information helps.

Does this product require additional chain or wire? I would hang it over a kitchen island with ten foot ceiling. What could I use for a cap at the ceiling?

Are rods included to hang from ceiling or rods and then extra chain? My ceilings are 9 feet high. I am hanging over and island.
