Capitol Lighting is not responsible for any refunds due for prior purchases with Bellacor.com. You may have the ability to dispute credit card charges for unfilled orders and receive compensation from your credit card company. This is the quickest option available for prior Bellacor customers expecting a refund.
Additional Information: On May 8, 2024, Bellacor filed an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (Court file no. 27-CV-24-7940) with the Hennepin County District Court in the State of Minnesota assigning its assets to Lighthouse Management Group, Inc. Attached is a notice sent by mail to all customers and creditors. An Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors is a process similar to Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The purpose of the assignment is to liquidate Bellacor’s assets and use the funds generated to pay Bellacor’s obligations.
It is unknown at this time what proceeds, if any, any will be available to pay customer claims. In the event funds are available, you will be contacted with instructions to submit a proof of claim. No further action is required from you at this time. Further information and filings with the Court can be found at: Document Search - Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) (Minnesota.gov Portal). The case number to search is 27-CV-24-7940.
